ERGONOMIC REPORT

Seat Profile: 8.5 (10)
A medium profile seat 510mm x 470mm with 7cms moderate density foam. The main part of the seat slopes backward with a gradual waterfall edge on the front 30%.

The rear of the seat sharply declines but this only comes into use when the seat slider is employed. It has restrained side to side scallop on the seats.

Backrest Profile: 18.5 (20) 
A high-backed seat 440mm x 650mm. It has very firm mesh with a pronounced lumbar curve and the base of the back rest flairing away from and below the seat. The hard frame gives a firm lateral support, though the contour is restrained in the lateral aspect. The mesh has a pronounced lumbar curve with firm and comfortable lumbar support. There is additional adjustable lumbar support which involves a sliding plastic sleeve 
which gives quite noticeable extra support. It is adjustable in an arc of about 10cms for height but no adjustment for depth. A comfortable and supportive backrest.

Configuration of Seat and Backrest:
Forward tilt: 9.5 (10)
The configuration between the seat and the backrest is excellent. The seat profile with the waterfall edge and the relatively short seat allow a good degree of forward tilt with very good lumbar support. The default posture is excellent.
Centre: 9 (10)
The centre posture with horizontal thigh is very good and the lumbar support becomes more pronounced.
Reclined: 9.5 (10)
The reclined posture is excellent. There is a good degree of reclination which remains comfortable and supportive throughout the lumbar and thoracic spine with no tugging at the clothes.
Ease of Adjustability: 17.5 (20) 
The seat height adjustment is in easy reach on the right of the seat. The synchro tension adjustment is a pull-out handle just below this – it is easy to locate and operate. The synchro locking mechanism is just below the left-hand side of the seat and is easy to locate and operate. Then seat slider is on the left under the seat it is easy to locate and use. There is no backrest height adjustment though the lumbar support can be adjusted 
for height with both hands by reaching behind the seat. There is no lumbar depth adjustment. The arms are adjustable for height only. 
None of the adjustments are labeled.
Anthropometric Range: 17 (20) 
The gas height lift range is comprehensive and would suit taller users. The usable portion of the seat in its normal position is quite small but when the seat slider is extended there is adequate depth for those with longer legs. There is a reasonable range of adjustment of the synchro mechanism, though it favours the heavier user and maybe be a bit too stiff for lighter users.

Summary:
A very nice synchro action with excellent setup. The adjustments are easy to use and the seat and back rest are very comfortable with no pressure points. It will suit a wide range of users.
